Hello and many Blessings to all,
We certainly appreciate everyone for your concern over the recent news reports of Bledsoe Funeral Home, Inc. receiving a complaint regarding the status of our establishment license. Be assured that we are still in business and in good standing. We were never in danger of losing our license.
The issue concerning a late filling for renewal in July 2014 was resolved by paying a 250 dollar fine to the state for operating during a 2 day period of time between expiration date and receiving the license certificate by mail. There was no thought of being penalized due to the fact that the application for renewal had been filed prior to the expiration date. We did not imagine that this would be considered news worthy and reported 9 months later.
Once again, be assured that we are ready, willing and able to service all your funeral needs for which we are thankful to have provided for over 70 years.
Theresia V. Bledsoe and Sean Bledsoe
